Off The Grid For a While
"I was in Tallaght in Dublin for my brother's wedding a few years ago and went for a drive on New Years Day up the Dublin mountains and into Co. Wicklow
with my Mother. I was surprised how close to the suburbs the wilds of the Tallaght hills are and how easy it is to just go and enjoy gallivanting round
the windy roads.
Somehow day to day it feels like we're farther from the wild, but it's still there to be had. So this is kind of my version of Go Lassie Go which was originally
a call for Glaswegians to go out into the highlands. We've never needed to hear that call more than now. In this day and age when we're being lured into
reels and stories, binge watching tv shows and glued to screens all day, I know I need a reminder to take the time to get out there and go exploring. So thanks for taking a musical journey with me Off the Grid For A While" Enda

Off the grid For a While Lyrics Enda Reilly
Let’s go gallivantin Up the Dublin mountains
Where the deepest shadows and the brightest sunbeams
Cut through the mists like you’re in a day dream
Round the rushy boland where the sheep roam freely
And the hawthorn hedges lead to castlekelly
Off the Grid For a while
Gauranteed to make you smile
Let’s go Of the Grid for a while
Gauranteed to make you smile
Let’s go gallivantin’ round the wicklow mountains
Where the ferns are plenty and the streams are mighty
And the sugarloaf stands like a mighty sentry
Stop to light a candle of peace in Gencree
Or a bite to eat in Enniskerry
Let’s go Off the Grid For a while
Gauranteed to make you smile
Let’s go Of the Grid for a while
Gauranteed to make you smile
There they are in the real world the real world
Down the valley in the real world
I don’t belong in the real world the real world
Don’t wann go to the real world when I’m
Off the Grid For a while
Gauranteed to make you smile
Let’s go Of the Grid for a while
Gauranteed to make you smile
